Information we collect
- Booking details you submit: your name, contact / WhatsApp number, email address (optional — used only to send your booking confirmation and receipt), the selected Puja, Puja type, preferred date and whether you requested video.
- Details you share with our team to perform the Sankalp, such as family names and Gotra.
- Payment information is processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We receive a payment reference and status — we do not see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank credentials.
- Basic technical information such as your browser type and a one-way (hashed) form of your IP address, used for security and spam prevention.
- If analytics is enabled, anonymised usage statistics (for example through Google Analytics).
How we use your information
- To register, coordinate and perform your booking and to contact you about it.
- To process the booking confirmation charge and keep payment records.
- To prevent fraud, spam and misuse of the website.
- To improve our services and website.
Sharing
We share your details only as needed to deliver your booking — for example with the Acharya team performing your Puja and with service providers who help us operate (hosting, payments, messaging). We do not sell your personal information.
Retention & security
We keep booking records for as long as needed for the purposes above and for our legal and accounting obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted admin access.
